Nature's Creative Edge was a collaborative fundraiser hosted by Bob Friese for AIFD, North-Central Chapter. Using the woods as our backdrop, dozens of designers would create large floral installations based on a theme. These extravegant installations became an annual event and open to the public.

White House Christmas Trees
An attendee from a Chicago event firm saw James present at the 2008 AIFD Symposium. The Event firm was working with the Michelle Obama and the White House staff, as they planned the White House Christmas for 2010. James was contacted and asked to create nine life-like Peacocks constructed in natural materials to top Christmas Trees. Additionally, he created one dove for the Armed Forces trees.
